It goes without saying that this is the most important aspect for Kymaya. Our instructors have thousands of flight hours to their credit and will put you in confidence.

Of course, holding the national certificates necessary for the practice of paragliding tandem flight as well as all the assurances of rigor, they are very familiar with the flying sites used (Prat d’Albis and Port de Lers), the conditions they might encounter and master all flight techniques.

Kymaya has been carrying out more than 2,500 tandem flights per year for more than ten years.

If you are curious about piloting a paraglider, choose the Piloting tandem flight. Your instructor will let you piloting under his control during the flight.

the schedule given when booking is indicative. The final schedule depends on the weather forecast as well as the weights of the participants. We will choose the best slots for you.

The final schedule will be communicated to you the evening before around 8 p.m. after consulting the latest Aerological and Meteorological data.

The flight time depends on the aerological conditions of the moment and the elevation difference of the flight site.

For children aged 4 to 12 and their low weights, we use the calm conditions of the morning and flights last about 10 minutes.

For adults, we reserve afternoon slots or thermal breezes strengthen greasy in the sun flights can last from 10 to 20 minutes depending on weather conditions.

These are generalities, but as we fly without an engine we obviously cannot guarantee the flight time.

Kymaya provides you with safety equipment (including the helmet), but recommends a hiking-style outfit, with closed and comfortable shoes (preferably with adherent soles), a wind-stopper and/or a sweater and gloves (it’s cooler in the air than on the ground) and pockets that close.

If you wear glasses you can take them in flight, it is even advisable to bring sunglasses.

The maximum authorized weight per passenger is 220 Lb. Indeed, to stay within the weight range authorized by paragliding manufacturers we cannot exceed this limit.
