Elementary Paragliding Course (5 days)
Learn paragliding in Ariège with a full 5-day immersion, coached by FFVL-certified instructors.
- Days 1–2: training slope (ground handling, take-off, landing).
- Days 3–5: supervised high flights with radio guidance + theory + ground exercises.
- Flying sites chosen according to the weather: Prat d’Albis / Port de Lers.
Progression Pack: Flexible Coaching
Progress whenever you’re available: sessions are announced the day before depending on conditions, so you can fly regularly and build autonomy.

- Professional coaching at Prat d’Albis and Port de Lers.
- Full kit provided: glider, harness, reserve, helmet and radio.
Club Pilot Pack: Towards Autonomy
Your first step towards autonomy in calm conditions: the recommended pathway to fly safely on your own with the right methods and equipment.
- Start with the 5-day elementary course (training slope + supervised flights).
- 20-flight progression pack to reach the required level.
- Preparation + theory (multiple-choice) exam and practical assessment.
Hike & Fly Course: Hiking & Flying
A unique Ariège experience: hike to the summits and take off where the mountains become your playground.
- Learn mountain flying: terrain reading, safety, decision-making.
- Navigation and line choices adapted to wild sites.

Instructors
Kymaya has 4 permanent instructors, including Thomas and Hristo, who speak English fluently, making it possible for a wider audience to train in Ariège. This allows us to provide an Elementary Course, Progression Pack, and Club Pilot course every week.
Trainees
We limit our Elementary courses to 6 trainees to work in small groups which allows us to have a high level of progress.
